09-07-2021

In this article we meet Denser Yao, the Manager and Designer at Seeyesdoor Homeware China, and obtain an insight into what his job involves on a daily basis.

How long have you worked with Seeyesdoor?

Actually, I am the founder of Seeyesdoor Homeware, I started entering this industry since 1990s, and the company was established in 1995. We initially started with stainless steel door and windows. Later we transferred to the copper door and more different kinds of materials. So now we have a wide range of door and window products, for instance, we have Pivot Door Nepal, garage door, hidden door, aluminium windows & door and fences.

What is your job at Seeyesdoor?

I am responsible for nearly everything, because I care about each client`s demand and we are a company focusing on customisation. This involves managing logistics, product design, making drawings, supplier seeking on special request and many other jobs.

What training was required?

My background and experience have all been in the language (especially English and Arabic), drawing & design, logistics and engineer sector. I started my career with interphone. Later I found my skill can be used more in this industry, so I decided to swap, and I love it. I made many friends in all around the world.

What does a normal day look like?

One of the things that I like about being as a multi-worker is that no two days are ever alike. Since we have customers from all over the world, I have to answer the enquiry very often, except for my rest time. Usually when I get back to my office, I will check my Alibaba inbox and Mail box. Then I will follow up with current clients and talk to my factory manager. Sometimes I will listen to some lessons with my employees. Sometimes I will make video call with some of my designers and dealer overseas. That`s it, I think.
